BUSINESS: Prominent Leaders Sponsor Students for Selma Movie

A group of prominent African-American business leaders decided it was important for our youth to see and talk about the movie Selma. So they joined forces and raised funds to sponsor 27,000 students in New York to see the powerful film, Selma. Their initiative started a movement across the nation that put in a “call to action” for other African-Americans¬† and organizations to step up and sponsor students to see this amazing film. Now, numerous cities are sponsoring student tickets.
