Review: Beverly Farmers Market

by Dawgelene “Dr Dawj” Sangster- It’s that time of year again where fruit, veggie and health conscious individuals get up early on Saturdays and Sundays to take a trip to the local Farmers Market. I remember visiting the market periodically with my late hubby because he wanted to go. It was so early that I just did not want to get up that early on the weekend. It has been quite a few years since I have visited in general, and this was the first time ever that I decided to get up and go alone. I decided to visit the Beverly Farmers Market in Chicago and walk around to see what was available.

I decided to grab some very delicious yogurt from Yoberri Gourmet; Tuscany chicken dog treats from Just Dogs and a whole grain oatmeal raisin cookie from The Bread Man baking company.  It was a great trip and worth the sacrifice of my weekend sleep, to enjoy delicious yogurt and a nice day. Check here for City of Chicago listings for Farmers Markets.
