One thing I love about Chicago is the great summertime festivals in various parks around the city. Not all parts of the city are bad so when one can visit a neighborhood and enjoy great music, food, prizes and community residents, it is a huge plus. One such event was the Taste of WVON, held a the Lorraine Dixon park in Chatham. The annual festival brought out 800+ residents from across the city, to enjoy food from local vendors, performances from community organizations, educational tents, Verizon Wireless prize give-a-ways and music from local and national artists. I love Chicago…do You?
