After breaking my ankle in July of 2014, I am a bit more cautious on the shoes I wear and how I take care of my ankle and overall health. It has not been an easy recovery to go from wearing 6-7 inch heels to mostly sporting flats and comfortable shoes to allow my ankle to heal. I plan to get into 4 inch heels at most in the future, but for now, I practice in my heels and ensure I do daily exercises to help the recovery process.
